Deep Tissue/Neuromuscular Massage
Deep Tissue massage refers to specific techniques that work the deeper layers of muscle, tendons, and fascia to help realign tissue and relieve muscle tension.   Neuromuscular massage therapy aims at restoring balance between soft tissue, muscles, tendons, and connective tissue with the central nervous system.    It's focus  is to eliminate or decrease pain by locating and softening trigger points in the muscle (nodules of contracted muscle fibers or 'knots') using static pressure.   Injury, trauma, or poor postural habits can cause muscle dysfunction and promote the activation of trigger points.   Pain is generally transferred or triggered beyond the site of the point causing discomfort and stress.

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage uses specific techniques including effleurage (long strokes), petrissage (kneading) and friction designed to reduce muscle tension,  increase circulation, and improve range of motion and joint movement.  This more rhythmic style of massage helps restore balance in the body and promotes deep relaxation easing the effects of stress on the body and mind.

Aromatherapy Massage
A  special blend of grapeseed oil and pure essential oils
is used to enhance any Swedish or Deep Tissue massage.  Essential oils are the natural oils extracted from flowers, stems, bark, roots, and leaves from different plants.  Aromatherapy is widely believed to provide health benefits including stress and headache relief, mood enhancement, hormone regulation, muscle relaxation, and immune system stimulation, to name a few.

Hot Stone Therapy
Hot Stone Massage incorporates the use of smooth heated stones using Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques. Special warm aromatic oil is use to promote optimal relaxation. Wonderful in the colder winter months.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a technique that provides deep sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to restore movement and eliminate pain. Fascia (connective tissue) resembles a spider web and connects to all soft tissue, bones, organs, nerves, and arteries throughout the body.
Stress in the tissue caused by physical or emotional trauma, repetitive strain injuries, and poor posture can restrict the fascia causing pain and discomfort.  Myofascial Release techniques work to release these restrictions and improve movement and range of motion.

Sports Massage
Sports Massage is a variety of massage techniques used to enhance athletic performance or help restore the body after a rigorous work out.

On-Site Massage for business and/or special events

Massages are performed on-site on a specially designed ergonomic chair or table using compression, stretching, and trigger point work. The client remains fully clothed and the sessions last anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Very cost effective, beneficial way to add to a workplace wellness program. Also a great way to reward employees  or attract prospects at trade shows.

Yes. Several studies have show that receiving massage in regular intervals have numerous health benefits. Like routine exercise, healthy eating habits, and sufficient sleep, massage promotes the body systems to stay balanced which is required for optimal function. When the body is experiencing prolonged stress the chemical balance is upset. Some medical research claims that 80% of all disease is caused by prolonged, untreated stress.
